For a school project, I intended to design the graphic motives and stamping for mexican tableware. I focused on young, just married couples, who were just getting started on living together as adults. Since my main target is around 25-30 years old, I used their childhood background: videogames.
These kind of couples are tired of every traditional rule they're entitled to follow, so they look for alternative design objects and products which fit their personalities; they're not looking for traditional flowery or plain tableware, they always want to go one step ahead from everybody else.

I digitally sketched different motives on an 8-bit style, in order to mix the concept of videogames and just married couples.
